Faith

A descendant of Holocaust survivors, Nick Muzin grew up with strong Jewish roots and a deep connection to Talmudic studies, which fostered both intellectual curiosity and religious commitment.

This foundation has guided his professional journey, as he consistently balances modern ambitions with Torah values. His dedication to the Jewish community remains a core influence, shaping his decisions and actions in both personal and professional spheres.

Life in Politics

Nick Muzin's rise in the political arena began when he played a key role in elevating Tim Scott, an African-American Republican, to national prominence. Muzin first connected with Scott during his campaign for lieutenant governor in South Carolina. Recognizing Scott’s potential, Muzin encouraged him to pivot and run for Congress instead.

This strategic shift, backed by Muzin’s campaign guidance, led to a landslide victory, making Scott one of only two African-American Republicans from a former Confederate state elected to Congress since 1901.

Muzin's political acumen was further demonstrated when he joined Senator Ted Cruz's team as deputy chief of staff and senior advisor during Cruz's 2016 presidential campaign.

In this role, Muzin was instrumental in shaping the campaign’s strategy and messaging, positioning Cruz as a serious contender in a fiercely competitive Republican primary. His efforts helped Cruz build a broad coalition and emerge as one of the final candidates standing against Donald Trump.

Medical Expertise

Nick Muzin’s experiences working in hospitals, such as  Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, exposed him to the real-world challenges faced by both doctors and patients.

These experiences sparked his interest in addressing healthcare issues on a larger scale through public policy.

Recognizing that his medical expertise could have a broader impact, he sought ways to merge his healthcare knowledge with politics.

This shift led him to join the renowned law firm Williams and Connolly, where he specialized in healthcare litigation, and eventually became Senior Medical Advisor for Senator John McCain’s presidential campaign.

Though his career increasingly focused on law and politics, Muzin’s medical background remained vital.

Business & Lobbying

Now at the helm of his own law and lobbying firm, Nick Muzin provides clients with strategic counsel on navigating legal and government challenges.

His expertise in policy and deep knowledge of government operations position him as a trusted guide for companies facing complex regulatory landscapes.

Muzin learns Torah daily and works closely with Jewish organizations both in Washington and globally.
